FALCONS FLYIN' HIGH -- Point League Leaders and Top Three Goaltender in the FPHL

FRESNO, Calif. — The Fresno Falcons are making their presence felt on both ends of the ice, with three forwards atop the Federal Prospects Hockey League’s scoring leaderboard and Austyn Roudebush among the league’s leading goaltenders.

As of October 19, Aaron Huffnagle, Austin Albrecht and Houston Wilson occupy the first three positions on the FPHL scoring leaderboard. Each has recorded four goals and five assists for nine points through four games, giving Fresno a trio tied at the top.

Together, the three forwards have combined for 12 goals and 15 assists, providing consistent production during the Falcons’ inaugural FPHL season.

Special teams have been a major part of that success. All four of Albrecht’s goals have come on the power play, making him a key contributor with the man advantage. Wilson has scored twice shorthanded and once on the power play, while Huffnagle has added a shorthanded goal and a game-winning tally.

The identical scoring totals highlight the balance within Fresno’s attack, with multiple players contributing as both finishers and playmakers.

In goal, Roudebush has provided an equally impressive foundation. Through 120 minutes of action, he has earned two wins without a loss, stopping 70 of 72 shots for a .972 save percentage and a 1.00 goals-against average.

Roudebush sits third on the displayed league leaderboard ordered by goals-against average, behind Topeka’s Sammy Bernard and Binghamton’s Graham Burke. His early-season results also include one shutout.

While the season remains young, Fresno’s combination of scoring depth, special-teams production and strong goaltending has delivered an encouraging start. With Huffnagle, Albrecht and Wilson setting the pace offensively and Roudebush providing stability in net, the Falcons have quickly established a presence among the FPHL’s statistical leaders.
