FRESNO FALCONS SIGN DEFENSEMAN ALIAKSANDR LESKAVETS

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno Falcons have signed defenseman Aliaksandr Leskavets for the upcoming season, adding a young, big-bodied presence to the blue line.

Leskavets, a left-shot defenseman from Zhodino, Belarus, brings size and reach to Fresno at 6’4” and 209 pounds. The 2005-born defenseman joins the Falcons after continuing his development in the junior ranks, most recently with CT Chiefs North of the NCDC during the 2025-26 season.

With CT Chiefs North, Leskavets appeared in 43 games, recording one goal, four assists, five points, and 24 penalty minutes. Prior to that, he suited up for New York Apple Core in the Eastern Hockey League, where he played 37 games during the 2024-25 campaign and added four assists.

Leskavets gives Fresno another defenseman with size, mobility, and room to continue growing in a professional environment. His frame, left-shot profile, and junior experience make him an intriguing addition as the Falcons continue building their roster for the upcoming season.

The Falcons look forward to welcoming Leskavets to the Central Valley as the team prepares for its first season back on the ice.
