FALCONS NAME AIMEE SABADO DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL MEDIA AND VISUAL CONTENT
FRESNO, Calif. — As the Fresno Falcons continue building toward their return to the ice, the organization is also strengthening the team responsible for telling that story off it.
The Falcons are proud to welcome Aimee Sabado as Director of Social Media and Visual Content, bringing her experience in photography, social media and digital storytelling to the organization.
Sabado joins the Falcons after previously working alongside Falcons President Jimmy Fries through her work with Fresno State Athletics, where she gained hands-on experience creating content in a fast-paced collegiate sports environment.
Now, she will play a major role in developing the Falcons’ digital identity as professional hockey returns to Fresno.
In her role, Sabado will oversee and help shape the club’s social media and visual content strategy, with an emphasis on creating authentic, entertaining and community-focused content that connects the organization with its supporters.
Her goal is not only to showcase what happens on the ice, but also to bring fans closer to the players, personalities and moments that make up the Fresno Falcons organization.
As the Falcons prepare for their first season back at Selland Arena, that connection will be especially important.
The organization enters the 2026-27 season with generations of longtime Falcons supporters already familiar with the history of hockey in Fresno, while also introducing the team to younger fans experiencing Falcons hockey for the first time.
Sabado will help bridge those two audiences through content designed to celebrate the franchise’s history while establishing a fresh digital presence for its newest chapter.
Her career in sports began with Fresno State Athletics, where she worked across both photography and social media.
That experience included capturing game-day content, producing player features, documenting behind-the-scenes moments and developing short-form video built specifically for social platforms.
Her work has also centered around finding ways to showcase the personalities behind the athletes, giving fans a closer look at the people representing their teams rather than focusing exclusively on results and statistics.
That approach will carry into her work with the Falcons.
With professional hockey returning to Fresno, Sabado will have the opportunity to document the organization from its earliest moments — from roster building and training camp to opening night, community appearances and everything that follows throughout the season.
Her role will also extend beyond individual posts or game-day coverage.
Building a successful sports brand digitally requires consistency, creativity and an understanding of how fans consume content across different platforms. Sabado’s experience growing social media accounts through personality-driven and visually engaging content will help the Falcons continue developing a recognizable voice across their digital channels.
For Sabado, the opportunity is also deeply connected to the Central Valley.
Having already worked within Fresno’s sports community through Fresno State, she understands the passion local fans have for their teams and the importance of creating content that feels connected to the community it represents.
As Director of Social Media and Visual Content, Sabado will help make sure fans can experience Falcons hockey far beyond the walls of Selland Arena.
From photographs and videos to player personalities, behind-the-scenes access and major moments throughout the season, her work will help document the story of the Falcons’ return as it happens.
Sabado brings a passion for sports, storytelling and digital media to the organization and is excited to help create a connection between the Falcons and their supporters both on and off the ice.
As Fresno prepares to welcome professional hockey home, Sabado will be one of the people responsible for making sure every step of that journey is captured, shared and remembered.
The Fresno Falcons are proud to welcome Aimee Sabado as Director of Social Media and Visual Content.
